eJamming allows you to plug any MIDI-enabled instrument into your computer, fire up the eJamming™ Station and you're connected to your friends, making music together over the internet in real time - no matter if they live a thousand miles away.
eJamming™ algorithms delay the sounding of your instrument until you receive data from your fellow eJammers. So from the time you hit your keyboard, strum a guitar string or strike a drum skin, the time it takes to hear that note and those of the other players on your stage varies from 15mS (milliseconds) within a city, 25-40mS within a 1500 mile jam and 40-50mS cross country*. eJamming™ has even connected musicians from NYC to London at 49mS*.

Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later (Panther-Tiger-Leopard) A USB or Firewire microphone compatible with Core Audio [or] An XLR mic plugged into a Core Audio compliant Audio Interface NOTE: You can use the internal mic on your computer if that level of fidelity is sufficient for you Broadband Internet (either DSL or Cable Modem - Satellite modems are too latent to work with eJamming). A MINIMUM of 250kbps for 2 person jams is recommended. 750kbps or faster upload speeds are recommended for longer distance sessions with more than 2 other musicians. Version 13.0c: Bug fixes and improvements in the remote live audio sound and we added Load Track Audio to all players' Track menus, so anyone in a session can load tracks locally and exchange them via Send Song.
